Justin Knupp

Justin Knupp

President & CEO

Justin Knupp has more than 20 years’ information technology management experience, encompassing multiple industries such as healthcare, communications, education, and broadband media. As the IT director of the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, home of one of the top ten family medicine residency programs in the US, he oversaw IT policy-making and direction. He also participated in IT governance within the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, as well as played an active role in UW Health policy making and systems design.

In addition to his roles within the UW School of Medicine, he is a visiting professor of design and multimedia at DeVry University, where he has designed course curriculum and taught for 8 years.

Justin earned an MBA with a concentration in information technology management. Outside of work, he has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society, and as a youth soccer and basketball coach.

Dennis Lynch

Dennis Lynch

Chief Operating & Financial Officer

Dennis Lynch has 30 years’ experience in the healthcare facility design and construction industry, including multiple senior management positions for Erdman and Brightworks Sustainability Advisors. He’s been involved in the planning, design, and construction of over one billion square feet of healthcare facilities across the United States. He holds an MBA from DePaul University.

Dennis values community involvement and has served as a board member of Access Community Health Center, the United Way Vision Council, and Operation Fresh Start, all in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition, he has been a member of owntown Madison, Inc., and the Economic Development Committee, the Board of Examiners for the Forward Award, a Baldrige Process, and Leadership for Greater Madison.

In his spare time, he enjoys boating with his wife, traveling to see family, and attending Concerts on the Square and the Dane County Farmers’ Market.

Nathan Gullick

Nathan Gullick

Chief Technology Officer

Nathan Gullick has 15 years of experience developing and leading efforts in healthcare and general technology related to curriculum design, healthcare education, and business processes. Nathan’s extensive experience managing and supporting medical technology as well as overseeing software development teams and numerous mobile application development projects give him a unique and valuable perspective on the use of technology in healthcare and medical education. Additionally, Nate has been responsible for designing and implementing data solutions and systems to meet the requirements of a variety of reporting mechanisms for multiple federal agencies such as CMS and the SBA.

As the Associate Director for the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, Nate oversaw strategic data and business analysis, leveraging technology to improve business decisions for the network’s many stakeholders. Nathan excels in matching technology solutions and strategies for effective business processes, accurate analytics, and efficient operations.

Outside of work Nathan enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing soccer and golf.

Terri Carufel-Wert

Terri Carufel-Wert

Chief Medical Strategy Officer

Terri Carufel-Wert, RN, BSN, and MHA, has worked in healthcare for 25 years. Her broad experience includes patient care in cardiac and medical intensive care units and healthcare clinic management for companies such as GE Healthcare, the University of Wisconsin, UW Health, and Associated Physicians. She has managed healthcare clinics with over 50 physicians and advanced practice providers.

Additionally, Terri holds two patents for products that further healthcare innovation. Terri excels in healthcare process improvement and evidence-based practice.

Paul Micheli

Paul Micheli

Vice President of Design & User Experience

Paul Micheli has spent a majority of his 14 year career as a Human Factor and User Experience engineer in the healthcare technology world. His product development experience includes anesthesia machines, a critical care ventilator, and two electronic surveillance applications. In addition, he has a strong interest in Patient Safety research and initiatives. Paul’s education includes a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin that focused on Human Factors in Healthcare

He prides himself as a bridge builder, teacher, mentor, and UX advocate while passionately striving to "walk a mile" in the users’ shoes.

Amy Knupp

Amy Knupp

Director of Marketing & Information

Amy Knupp has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing, communications, editing, and technical writing. She’s led a broad range of marketing endeavors, from product branding and positioning to small business advertising and promotions to online marketing and social media leveraging. Additionally, Amy has written technical briefs and white papers for multiple organizations, including a global payments technology company.

Her forte is crafting compelling, targeted messages. Whether it’s technical white papers, advertising copy, executive summaries, product briefs, or website content, Amy merges technical understanding, precise writing, and concise editing to create engaging and understandable content.

In addition, she writes fiction and has published twelve novels and a number of shorter works. In her personal life, Amy is passionate about wellness, health advocacy, and Jayhawk basketball.

David Lee

Chief Infrastructure Developer

David Lee is a full-stack application developer with a focus on scalable systems, performance, and reliability. He has a decade of experience hand crafting solutions for customers, primarily in Higher Education and Healthcare settings.

Jacob Duffy

Jacob Duffy

Chief Software Developer

Jacob Duffy has 10 years of experience in professional software development. His focus has largely been on business automation, quality improvement, and data aggregation. Jacob builds software tools to make other peoples’ jobs easier, faster, and more accurate.

Before entering the technology industry, Jacob worked as an educator. This experience provided a valuable insight into the importance of education across all industries.
