Justin Knupp has more than 20 years’ information technology management experience, encompassing multiple industries such as healthcare, communications, education, and broadband media. As the IT director of the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, home of one of the top ten family medicine residency programs in the US, he oversaw IT policy-making and direction. He also participated in IT governance within the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, as well as played an active role in UW Health policy making and systems design.
In addition to his roles within the UW School of Medicine, he is a visiting professor of design and multimedia at DeVry University, where he has designed course curriculum and taught for 8 years.
Justin earned an MBA with a concentration in information technology management. Outside of work, he has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, the Humane Society, and as a youth soccer and basketball coach.
Terri Carufel-Wert, RN, BSN, and MHA, has worked in healthcare for 25 years. Her broad experience includes patient care in cardiac and medical intensive care units and healthcare clinic management for companies such as GE Healthcare, the University of Wisconsin, UW Health, and Associated Physicians. She has managed healthcare clinics with over 50 physicians and advanced practice providers.
Additionally, Terri holds two patents for products that further healthcare innovation. Terri excels in healthcare process improvement and evidence-based practice.
Amy Knupp has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing, communications, editing, and technical writing. She’s led a broad range of marketing endeavors, from product branding and positioning to small business advertising and promotions to online marketing and social media leveraging. Additionally, Amy has written technical briefs and white papers for multiple organizations, including a global payments technology company.
Her forte is crafting compelling, targeted messages. Whether it’s technical white papers, advertising copy, executive summaries, product briefs, or website content, Amy merges technical understanding, precise writing, and concise editing to create engaging and understandable content.
In addition, she writes fiction and has published twelve novels and a number of shorter works. In her personal life, Amy is passionate about wellness, health advocacy, and Jayhawk basketball.
